Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

Pay:  Tips with guaranteed base hourly rate. 

Supplemental Pay:  All Gratuities over base hourly rate.

SHADE Pub and Nightclub is seeking LGBTQ+ and LGBTQ+ Friendly Cook who will provide quality food preparation for Guests. The most qualified applicants will have experience working in restaurants as a cook and the ability to work independently and with a team.  Restaurant and Quick Service experience is preferred.   

Responsibilities include: (1) clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils; (2) cook the exact number of items ordered by each customer, working on several different orders simultaneously (3) maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas. (4) operate cooking equipment such as deep-fat fryers, commercial ranges or griddles. (5) pre-cook items such as bacon, in order to prepare them for later use (6) read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by patron and prepare and cook food according to instructions, and (7) verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour (based upon experience)
